fuel tank leak

I've got a leak in the fuel tank; appears to be coming from the welded seem and potentially from a couple of spots.
I've drained & pulled the tank.
Searching the site, it looks like any discussion on the topic has been around cleaning and repairing the tank. I'm wondering if it should be replaced. Any have insight to a source in the Northeast and price?
What are the thoughts on re-welding?

Ed:  You might want to talk to a couple of automotive radiator shops in your area.  I had a ancient gas tank out of one of my other boats cleaned, rewelded, and interior coated with epoxy at a local radiator shop a few years ago.  It was a lot less expensive than fabricating a new tank, and there was no problem with whether or not it was going to fit afterwords.
