A few weeks ago, we took off all the salon curtains for cleaning. My wife washed them although a label says to dry clean only.The problem is that we did not make note of what goes where and now after spending time trying to figure what goes where, still cant figure it out. Most are in pairs but all pairs for the most part have different spacing between top and bottom sliders. Most have too much spacing between track so they don't look very nice. Need dimensions (width and height) of each curtain and location pleassssse.
  Am also working on roller shade for the forward cabin using those fantasy shades we see on car windows with Bugs Bunny. Took it apart and replacing the see thru with regular shade material.Total cost $5 for shade and a few more for the darkening material. will share more info when done

I don't understand how we can give you measurements.

The curtain tracks are not parallel, and mine differ from side to side, there's no way i can help you.

Cory made new curtains this year with new a=fabric, but she saved the strips from the old curtains with the little knobs on them.  I have NO idea how she did it, but they fit.  {She tells me that she did just what Ron recommended, how else would you do it?}

In your case, you just gotta put the puzzle together.  If I were you, I'd start by matching ones that agree, then at least you'd know that you have some from starboard and the others from port.

Good luck,( and keep reading those old Mainsheets  :eek:)

Life is too short, I've already spent too much time trying to figure out the puzzle I'll probably end up redoing them and install new tracks and make them paralell. I had used special snaps tape sewn on the curtains. Will consider room darkening fabric.

I understand.  At least we both got new curtains out of taking the old ones off!  :)

FYI, we used darker curtains, too, with some initial hesitation about how they might look.  They're navy blue with some white sailboats and other nautical thingies writhing around on the pattern, but basically dark blue.

We were concerned if we'd like them as much because of the potential for darkening the cabin.

We really like them.  They're unobtrusive when pulled back (and we only had to spend a week "training" the new fabric to keep into its own folds by tying them up with thin line!!!).

So we don't really lose any light during the daytime, and they add a bit of flair to an otherwise flat visual area of the boat.

I like 'em, and we're keepin' 'em!  :)

Good luck with your new ones.  We'd also considered the snappy things, but Cory got caught up in the sewing of the old old hooks on the new ones, big time.  Don't think I'll ever hear the end of that one...
