I have noticed some pooling of water in the aft cabin - port side(where the cusions would be). I recently launched the boat and my water tanks are empty, hence she is listing to port. That said, I can't figure out where the water is coming from. The windows are suspect but I don't think this is the source. Could the cockpit sole above be the culprit? No evidence of any ceiling stains in the aft cabin.

Thanks in advance,

I have the same proble and have deducted that the intrusion is coming from the pedestal base, have sealed it and will see this weekend check it out

Rebed the tubes for the pedestal guard. The water is probably leaking down one of the tubes and behind the rear panel. I discovered this after removing all the panels in the aft cabin. But at least I got a good look at where everything is located back there.

Pedestal Base Leak

I tried a Find on pedestal:

Check the seventh message down the list.  There may be more there, too.

Happy sealants!

Could be from anywhere and run inside liner to pedistal area, then to aft cabin. Do you notice after either heel in stiff breeze or bobbing in rough seas to cause water to run to pedistal area. Have been unsuccessful finding similar leak.

Same leak, through the steering pedestal, down the cover, down the back side of the wall where it hit the fiberglass mold that the wall butts against where it got deflected to the cushion area.  I haven't rebedded the petestal yet but I don't spray so much water on the cockpit sole to wash out the dirt anymore.  No leaks since.

Most typical source of water in the aft cabin is the either the pedestal or the pedestal guard feet.  You can check this by removing the fiberglass cover and having someone outside spray the base of the pedestal with a hose.  Once you isolate the source, re-bedding is in order.  If you have cushions down below and they are constantly wet, the fabric will eventually rot.  It's a lot cheaper to re-bed!

Good Luck,

Mike
