Guys : I've found that trailer parks with propane will usually refill any bottle even those without an OPD conversion.

I know it isn't legal, I'm just telling you what they do!!

Guys : I've had a few of my friend that went south to the Bahamas convert from CNG to Propane and they had NO problems and it was NOT that expensive$$ for three fittings (don't remember the exact cost)!!

Jerry : I was able to get a 10lb bottle in that OEM propane bottle Box even after I had the overflow mod added.  Also you can modify the inside of that lid incase it is too tall.

As Mentioned, I'd wire brush off the rust and spray paint the old bottle.

Cliff : You only need to replace the "orifice fittings" on the burners and the oven!!

pby : From what I've seen of reefing point: The believe the sail maker puts a single reef point higher up in the main sail than when he puts in two reefing points!!

Personally I've never had to use the top reef point because the bottom one does the job, but like I mentioned I believe it is lower than where a single reef point would be.                                    I sail with a 150% jib, but with the Garhauer movable genoa cars I can roller in some of that 150% and it still holds its shape.

pby : I make a small wad of toilet paper and stuff it in the bottom weep hole of the Sherwood. Run the engine a bit and then check that wad for wetness. Also check around the hoses leading to and from the Sherwood

Benrd : Thump the hull and you'll find a bulkhead just aft of where the center stands are now.

MOVE THEM !!!!!

Also make sure that the majority of the weight is on the nose of the keel - Check to make sure that the majority of the weight is NOT on the fwd stands!!

On my boat (wing keel) the fwd stands are just there and snug against the hull - no weight!

Guys : The best way to treat your holding than is NO PAPER in to the head/holding tank!!!

I talked to the Japsco reps and they agree!!

We put all used toilet tissue/paper in a zip lock bag and dispose of it with the garbage!!

Guys : The Mk II has a Corian rather than a Formica counter top.

Depending on your lid, I was able to screw a brass cup holder in the underside of the teak above and have it catch (when open) the ring on the fridge lid - so it will stay open!!   :thumb:

Dan : Look at page 4.3.3 (plumbing) and page 4.3.1. (thru hulls) of your owners manual - or the MK 1 manual on our site - Straight forward.
There are a number of owner mods to the galley sink drain and mods to the shower drain as posts on this site.  :thumb:
