maybe a bit more friction.  But with the 6:1 advantage and ball bearing sheaves the sail is easily controlable.  Also no holes in the Dodger.

I spoke to Guido at Garhauer today and ordered the upgrade along with the blocks to run the control lines forwards to a block then aft to the cockpit parallel to the other lines.

Paul,  Is Garhauer giving a discount to you? 
I think on the "C-30 packages" that they're doing 10% discount (taking it away from us dealers LOL)

Quite possibly Noah. However going to a ball bearing traveller and control block and turning block should be so much easier than we currently are setup.
