Docking and maneunering /cross wind

I was visiting the boat show yesterday at Jack London Square, Oakland CA. There was a nice demo on how to maneuver in and out of a cross wind dock which has been the subject for the last week. Some great tips in these articles.

Am I right in thinking that prop walk is much more of an issue for a C34 than our previous 30 footer with a Volvo saildrive?  Or is it just a heavier boat?
