Well that certainly turned me around in a hurry. I'm back to replacing my trusty T-105s with the same, and swapping out the starter battery (A WM Gp 27 deep cycle ... I have no idea why the PO put that there) with an Optima 8006-006-FFP. My original plan included upgrading the charger (that Xantrex Tru-Charge 20A doesn't make much of a dent in a 450 Ah house bank if you're using a generator) with a 50A Inverter/Charger (Magnum), as well as upgrading the alternator to a 90 or 105A. I'll still do that, but not going all Lifelines just saved about $1200. And maybe a lot of pain and grief. Thanks all.
