I need to replace the injectors on my engine.

I checked the manuals area of the site and found the Kubota tractor number for the M25 block but nothing is listed for the M35 block.

Does anyone happen to know what tracktor model the M35 block is used on?  Could the injectors for both the M25t and M35 be the same?

Thanks,

Steve

The Kubota site isn't very friendly in this instance.  Using Google this is what I have come up with.

Don't take this as gospel.  It would be nice if someone with a Kubota dealer near them can confirm.  The one near me just recently closed.

M25, M25xp - D950 engine, B7200 tractor (confirmed)

M25xpb, M35B - V1305 engine, B27 tractor (best guess)

M35, M35A - V1200 engine, B9200 tractor (From previous C34 message)

Looking at the Marine Diesel Direct site, all three engines list different part numbers for the injectors.  They may be the same injector with superceded p/n.  Again a visit to the dealer could confirm.

M25/25xp  injector - 298787

M25xpb/M35B injector - 200701

M35/35A injector - 302475

Hope that helps somewhat

Ken,

Modify:

M25,  D850 engine I don't recall the tractor engine #, it'll be here somewhere on our site.  I'll go look.

M25xp - D950 engine, B7200 tractor (confirmed)

From the Ericson website:  http://www.ericsonyachts.org/infoexchange/showthread.php?10241-Universal-5432-amp-M40-engine-information&highlight=kubota+block  Scroll down.

See Rerply #10, here:  http://c34.org/bbs/index.php/topic,5870.0.html

I did a search on "D850" - there are many more hits on that search.

Ken and Stu,

Thanks very much for the research and results.

My son's father works at a Kubota dealer and I will verify/get the part numbers from him and pass the information on so it's in the website.

Many thanks!

Steve : If I were you, I'd pull an injector (which has a brand label and number stamped on it) and take it to a Kubota dealer and by a new one that matches!   A thought

Ken : The differant model engines you mentioned even have differant brand makers for that particular engine injector.
