I have read all the threads on CNG and the tech info on the CNG adaptor. I have the adapter on the way and have run into another issue in filling my CNG tanks here in Ohio. I am trying to avoid the $80.00 per tank exchange with corp brothers as the shipping is what is the large portion of the cost. First the local gas utility company here in Columbus Ohio shut down their filling stations and the other here require a key card and those companies are not interested in my small need.  So what I was wanting to know if anyone out there uses a CNG a filling station in Central or northwest Ohio  or Southeastern Mi and the stations location  information. The locations in thisarea for swapping listed on Corp brothers is outdated and exchange is no longer available.

Thanks

Stu,
Thanks for the link. Safegas is a distributor of CNG products and lists CNG
gas outlets owned by other entities. Thomas hardware in Michigan is listed as provider is a boat chandlery and they do not have an exchange however they to fill your tank. They only fill when they have enough requests and I missed their latest fill date.  The adaptor I ordered came from the folks on the wiki section. Still trying to findout if north coast has a station or program.

I see in your profile that Western Lake Erie is your sailing area.  Port Clinton is supposed to have a marina that will fill, sounds like a weekend trip you should make...just don't get waylaid at Put in Bay first

Ken,
Thanks
The Port Clinton Marina is Brands Marina where I used to exchange as the boat is located nearby on Catawba  however they stopped doing the exchange when the  person they farmed out the filling to went out of business. This person used to do this service all along the south shore of Lake Erie. In speaking to them they went out of business due to the fill station would no longer allow small tank filling and was not making much $$.

Put In Bay is about 7 miles from our dock and have spent many great days there .
