Does anyone know what make fresh water foot pump will fit inside the galley area near the sink? We are not close to  our boat and don't know the clearance. Seems to me there is only about 3 inches, but I'm hoping there is more. Also, is there a foot pump arm that folds out of the way? Thanks, kerk

Kerk : Mine is a "Whale" foot pump.  Don't know about a folding arm, but I CUT 2 " off mine 18 years ago(in the way) and it still works great.   :thumb:

Thanks, Ron. Great idea about cutting it down. Kerk

Kerk,

This doesn't answer your question, but here's another thought: we got tired of tripping over the arm so we mounted the foot pump completely inside the lower cabinet door. We have to open that door now to use the foot pump, but we don't use it much anyway.

We also have a Whale pump mounted inside the cabinet door.  Yes, we have to open the door to use it, but it works great and is otherwise out of the way, and no modifications were needed.  Hope this helps.

Switch the hinges to the side and it opens like a door!

Wow. I like the idea of the pump handle inside with the door change. Thanks!! Kerk
