Radar/GPS

What is the general experience with Radar/GPS combinations?  Catalina recommends Raymarine but does anyone have experience with other manufactures?

Haven't used any but Raymarine and am satisfied with them.   Seatalk has all talking to each other autohelm, depth, wind, radar. chart and GPS.  

Raymarine even replaced my GPS when they found a group of them weren't up to standard.  (lost reception).  No charge of course.

Have them mounted together in a Navpod.
