Hull Anode Plate

When I pulled her out this fall, I noticed that I was the sacrificial anode for a neighboring boat.... (yes, I'm installing a galvanic isolator) The hull plate took the brunt of the damage and needs to be replaced....

Anyone do this?  Procedure, thoughts?  Thanks....

I do not have a hull anode. Is it possible yours is a grounding plate?

Possibly.... I won't know for sure until I can get back on the boat after the thaw.... But should't everything go through the shaft?

I am not a marine electrician but, IMO, unless you have a SSB/Ham radio onboard thT fequire A ground plane, or some aftermarket lightening "protection/ground" system there is no need/use for a ground plate on the hull of a C34. General practice is one or two anodes on the prop shaft, one anode on the strut, and if your prop design dictates, one anode on the prop.
