My 1988, #729 did not come with the optional refrigeration unit.  I am in the process of acquiring the complete A/B unit, but, to do this they need to know the cubic feet of the existing ice box. I have checked the search on "refrigeration" but there is no mention of how many cubic feet this boat has.  Does anyone have any idea.  Thanks everyone.

Jim,

When all else fails, just measure it.  Besides that way you know for certain the info you have is correct.  Length X Width X height.

I believe the size is given in the original specs/manual that came with the boat.  If you do not have that, maybe it's posted elsewhere on this site.  We installed the A/B Cold Machine in our 1989 (#832) last summer after checking with David Graas at Catalina Yachts.  I think I remember the volume of our ice box is about 6 cu. ft. or less....better look it up.

I calculated the volume last year for the same purpose and came up with 6 cubic feet.
