I am a Fleet 1 member with my 1992 Cat 34 on Lake Erie  Crying or Very sad

I am thinking of moving my Cat 34 to S.F. Bay.  My question is: "Are there other TR/WK in San Francisco Bay?"

I am thinking primarily of cruising and am wondering how the TR/WK would perform in S.F. Bay.

Hauling costs would be more than the sales tax on a different boat if I would purchase in S.F.   On the other hand I know the boat well and it is a 13 year old fresh water boat.

Any thoughts Question

Joe:

As far as we know, there are no Tall Rig C34's on the bay.  Even with the standard rig, one does a good deal of reefing when sailing in the Main Bay. A Tall Rig would only mean you get to do a little more.
