I got hit by lightning a couple days ago. I have had the surveyors and tech people out and have my claim started with boatus. One item that was damaged was the electrical  control panel over the chart table. I have seen these for sale somewhere but ? Cannot remember where and really want the correct panel. The tech guys said they were not sure where to get one. I have a C34. 1988

catalina direct has new panels, tho it might not exactly match yours.

contact Dennis Igarashi.  He built your panel and sells new builds, but could probably refurb the one that you have.

Twenty years from now you'll be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the ones you did.
So throw off the bowlines.  Sail away from the safe harbor.  Catch the tradewinds in your sails.

Would Catalina Yachts be a possibility?

Or, see if you can leverage your insurance company into paying for an "updated" panel solution. There are panels by Blue Sea and others out there that will fit that you can configure to fit your requirements.

Check out this place.  they can make up something based on your specifications.  Based on their photo gallery, they make very nice stuff.

Terry,
Sorry to hear about your lightning strike.  My friend's Islander 32 was struck while he was anchored in a remote location a few years ago. All is well now.  You may have already seen it but Jon W has an excellent write up on his electrical system upgrade including a new control panel.

Terry : There have been articles and many posts about the Blue Seas panels.
I believe they might also be superior to the OEM factory panel!!

The Blue Sea panels are excellent. There are a lot of choices to make when custom configuring one. Jon has recent experience on designing one for his boat, and I previously helped another owner on this forum design his.

The folks at Blue Sea are very helpful with pre-sales questions and after-sales assistance. While the panels are not cheap, they are not as expensive as they first look, if you have a professional order it for you thru a place like WestMarine. Blue Sea gives them a very large discount, so even if your electrician takes a small markup, you may end up paying significantly less than full retail price.
