I have a 2003 Catalina 34 and need to remove the Lewmar hatch hinges to repair leaks. I do not see any obvious way to dissemble the hinges.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

It has been a while since I did ours but I seem to remember a cover that needed to be removed at the end and then a pin that had to be tapped out.  What I do remember more specifically is that the replacement hinges from Lewmar came with detailed instructions for removing the hinges and installing the replacements.

See if you can find what you need on the lewmar web site.  It looks very well done.  If not try emailing them.

Guys : Be careful with you suggestions as the 2003 MKII hatch that Tim is talking about is MUCH different than the "Rollstop" VBerth hatch on the early MKI C34s!!

Ron has a good point.  I would consult with a Lewmar dealer or Lewmar directly about the appropriate part and the directions for replacing.
