Garhauer Outboard Lift Davit Installation

I learn so much from this site. My boat came with the Kato Outboard Lift and I had no idea what brand it was! It is permanently mounted and it does look good. But I have noticed many Garhauer Outboard lifts on my gangway.

I have a lift by Forespar but I believe they are about the same.  Mine has a 24" arm and that is fine for me.  The pictures should answer many of your questions.
