Sean : You have posted your question on a "C34 is for Lovers" web site.
Why don't you post the same question on the C36 web site and see what they have to say !?!  A thought

There have been a number of discussions about "comparisons" and the conclusions that have come out of it are that the boats are so much the same that the layout down below is the deciding factor.  Our C34s have an aft head, C36 is forward.  The galley and saloons are completely different.  The C36 did make a change to their aft cabin on later models, whereas fewer changes were made to the C34.

The best part is that we share systems and there are many of us who frequent the C36 website as do many of the really nice C36 skippers who join us here.  We also have a number of non-Catalina skippers who participate here.

I've developed friendships with many C36 skippers, some right here in The Bay area.  Nice folks, just like here.

Do a search on C36 and you'll see.
