I really did search more than once but I can't seem to locate the thread about matching the white gel coat for small repairs..........is the product of choice the one offered by Catalina Direct called Spectrum? Thanks for your patience with something that has to have asked a thousand times............  :?

Phil : Yes, it was I that posted the gel coat notice.

If you have a large job to do get your gel coat from Catalina and make sure that you give them your year.  However the factory's gel coat is thin for spraying. White, Grey and Tan(camel).
If you have a small touch up job call Spectrum Co in Auburn WA at (800)754-5516.  They made touch up kits for West Marine in Catalina colors.  They still have some white paste patch kits available.  Paste is much easier to use, especially on a vertical surface.

Spectrum also has a product called "Cabosil" which you can thicken the factory gel coat into a paste.  The gal I talked to was Danielle.  Give them a call.

Paul : Thanks, as you are a living testament to my statement that over 98% of all of the C34 questions that are asked - have already been asked & answered.

Between this Message Board, Projects and the Mainsheet Tech Notes the information is finally starting to get into WiKi -- so it's easier to locate !!

Ron: I appreciate all the information at this site and the countless hours and effort on your part, Stu's and many others to keep this a live exchange. Frankly, I don't know how you all dedicate so much time to this! It has to be one of, if not the best, user forums I've seen relative to a single saiboat. So, thanks.  :clap

And, BTW - I've asked the shipyard to have my 1987 C34 weighed this spring at launch when in the travel-lift so I can add to the other discussion about displacement. Unfortunately, it has to wait until May 15th or so - ice is just leaving the area.
