Hurricane Fay approaches

The last forecast shows Fay making landfall in the Naples/ Ft Myers area as as a Cat1. Wish us good fortune please and as you wake up tomorrow we will be getting bashed. I have all the canvas off the boat, the Genoa off the roller and the Main tied in the stack pack. I survied Wilma so this should be a breeze. Only problem is surge. My house is at 8 feet and they are predicting up to 5 feet surge. A little closer than I would like.

All Clear...Phew did not reach Hurricane statues. 65 mph winds for a few hours . All is well here.

Now lets hope it stays weak and dumps enough rain on Ga to start refilling Lake Lanier without causing too many other problems.
