Breezer has been at Troendle Marine in the Pensacola Shipyard for the last week getting her biennial bottom job and a couple of upgrades, getting ready for the new sailing season.  Tuesday at 8:00 AM is splash time.  Hopefully, we will be able to use the boat more this year than last.  On a side note, in case you smell fresh shrimp cooking, our largest local fresh seafood market, Joe Patti Seafood, has just been ranked best in Florida and third best in the nation by Time Inc.'s Coastal Living magazine according to this article on CNN's website.  It's a local landmark and just another reason life is so good on the Emerald Coast!

"New"  Sailing Season?  When did the last one end?  Oh yeah, welcome "back" to my northern friends from way down here in Sunny Florida.   :D

Off June 4 for 2 weeks in the Abacos before (hopefully) the first Hurricane!

Hi Joe -

Are you sailing to the Abacos or flying over?  Jan and I were at Marsh Harbor a few years ago on a 43' Hunter and explored the Sea of Abaco and cays for 8 days.  We really enjoyed it - especially the conch!  Be sure to fill us in on your itinerary and experiences!

Sailing of course!

Took my Catalina 270 over 3 years ago and ended up in 8-10 foot seas across the Gulfstream due to a freak storm.  Looking forward to a smoother trip this time.

My buddy and our are taking her to the Abacos.  Merritt Island to West Palm.  West Palm to West End.  West End to Spanish Cay.  Spanish Cay to Hopetown for a week.  Rented a house and have spouses, kids and grandkids all flying over for day sailing and knocking about for a week.  Wife is sailing her back with me.  Can't wait.
