Canuck, I would love to see a few pictures of your icebox mechanism.  It sounds interesting.

So this is not really an electrical box it seems more like a solid state device.

Steve, yes I got a little carried away and installed a GE water filter system.  this pic shows it a little better and the second ppic shows where I placed the actual filter.

It was great meeting you and your wife at the show, I look forward to seeing you again on the water!

This might be a better pic of the actual faucet.

Here are the pictures of my installation.  The first shows the full setup, the second is the picture under the sink showing the connections, the third is the soap bottle in relation to the shelf that holds the garbage pail.

I also purchased mine at Mayberrys in NJ.

The Honda Eu2000i was my gift to myself for the holidays.  I did a lot of research and I was really sold on the low noise level of this unit while it is in operation.  I just could not live with a loud noisy unit.  Also the reviews this device has received from fellow owners has been very, very positive.

Roc I did place it in the left corner and it does not interfere with the trash can which by the way I do not use for trash we use it for storage of dry goods.  The whole idea of putting trash into such a small can is ridiculous.

I did pull out the sink to make the job a little easier on my body although I now believe this was not really necessary.  I first removed the draws to the right so I had easy access all around the sink.  The hot and cold water lines were connected using stainless steel flex lines which were a part of the actual faucet.  The water supply hoses go to a half inch threaded coupling then a half to 3/8 fitting which enables the faucet flex lines to connect to the water supply.  My 34 is a 2004 and came with a water pump with the diaphragm and no accumulator tank.  It works fine and the system has been reliable.  I will take some pictures in the next week or two when I get back to the boat showing the faucet and the connections.  It really looks nice, I even installed a soap dispenser.

I replaced the faucet today, Kohler K-15160-CP, fit perfect and looks good.  Since the boat is on the hard I will not be able to test it until spring.  The Admiral will like this!

Stu that is unbelievable, what will they think of next.  Actually I did by the Fog Mate system and have it set up and working in my garage (it is about 20 degrees outside).  The one thing I am struggling with is which horn to purchase.  For a 12 meter boat which is approximately 39 feet you can go from 106 db to 110 db on average.  I am not sure that the 4 db delta would make a big difference in sound.  The one unit that is 123 db might be over doing it; it is really hard to tell since the only way to test them would be to buy them.

:?

Thanks for the continued help from all...

Thanks for the help, I will let you know which model I finally settle on.  Currently I have my eye on the Kohler K-15160-CP.

This seems like a neat product, but my VHF is only about 3 years old.  Would you have a recomendation on what type of horn I should use?  In asking around I have not found many sailors using built in horns.

Thanks for the help.

I am looking to install a horn system on the boat with the intention of integrating it with the FogMate Horn controller, http://www.fogmate.com/.  I would be interested in knowing if anyone has installed a simple horn system on your boat, which horn/switch did you select and where did you locate them on your boat.
