That's the new fitting your putting in. I was curious about the old fitting. Was it a straight fitting also or was it an elbow fitting?

Are you still using the 2 in. HX not the 3 in. ? Also, that new fitting looks like it is brass to me?

The picture is from a few years ago when I repowered the boat shortly after purchasing her. The straight fitting is the only one I've ever run the engine/HX with.
