FYI - received one of those letters last week which give the impression of being from the Coast Guard, but isn't,
so thought I'd just put the cautionary word out again not to respond to such a letter, with address in Morgantown WVA
and postmarked in Santa Ana CA.

Glad you didn't fall for it and yes, the more reminders the better.  Best way to shut these people down...letting all documented boat owners know about this and eventually this cash cow will dry up.
