The panels are manufactured in Italy not in China.

The company is Italian and my recollection is its factory is there too. That said, my understanding is that the Solbian factory assembles the finished flexible panels using their plastic substrate. The underlying cells themselves can be made elsewhere. The top performance Solbian line says it uses SunPower cells. SunPower is a California company that has its manufacturing plants in the Philippines.

After some googling, it seems that they also have a large presence in China.  I suppose that buying a solar panel is comparable to buying a American made car.  Many assembled in the US from various pieces from around the world.
