Does anyone know where to buy new covers for the boarding ladder latches on a 1990 C34 with a walk thru transom?

Mine are degrading from all the UV.

Mine too.  Read on the board last year that an easy way to replace the plastic covers was to use "Dip It"  found at hardware stores to insulate the handles of hand tools.  The author said it took a couple of applications to get it thick enough.  Haven't tried it yet...one of those things that will eventually make it to the top of the list.

Mine also degraded and I tried the Plastic Dip.  I got from Home Depot but had to use Red.  Could not find white even though manufacture makes white, no one seems to carry.  Also can be found in Blue.  Red is actually good - I can easily tell if latches are in position.  Yes, takes several coats to get the desired thickness - but simple to do.  Looks good, been exposed for a year now and looks same as day I did it.
