Hello All;
I'm planning on installing another thru-hull.  In the past those that I've installed have been "mushroom" but I want to install a beveled "flush" one now. I did a flush sending unit over 30 years ago.  Is there a good way to get from the major measurement to the minor measurement other that a grinding stone or rasp to make the angle??  I want to make sure I resin it also prior to the caulking and instillation.

Steve,

Maine Sail has a great website that you should consider bookmarking.

I know he did a writeup of installing thru hulls, don't know if he did a flush one.  You can find some of his posts here and pm him, I'm sure he'd be glad to help you out.

Good luck, take pictures, write home often... :D
