CRANKCASE VENT HOSE

Hello all!!!  While scanning the C-36 website, I read an interesting article about routing the crankcase vent hose to the air filter housing. Is this O.K.?   Has has anyone done this? I'm talking about the 25XP engine.  Thanks for any input.    PAUL....
