Anyone out there have some suggestions for the removal of some two-part polyurethane varnish that dripped on the gel coat and cured.
Seems like pretty hard stuff. Wondering if there is a solvent that might soften it up but not damage the gel coat.

Acetone, paint remover, brush & roller cleaner or laquer thinner come to mind.

If those don't work, wet sanding and then compounding and wax should do the trick.

Whatever course you choose, it'll be work.

Shan : Take a small square of cloth, put it over the drip and then keep the cloth wet with MEK for an hour or two.  I believe that will soften the drip enough to carefully scrap it off the the gelcoat.

Hope this helps!!
