Need Lewmar 46 Jaw Kit

Guys, I tried the 1/2" Regatta Polyester single braid line, as suggested here.  Same problem.  The jaws just don't "bite" the line.  The line just sort of "falls out" of the jaws.  I've actually ordered a sample length of 5/8" in Regatta Poly SBL, and will test that now.  I'm a little worried about the weight of 5/8' line though.

No need to worry about 5/8ths line unless you are racing and heading down wind. My boat came with 5/8ths sheet lines and I have actually come to like them. Since they were in pretty good shape, I did not replace them since my project list is long enough. Then again, in Long Beach we usually have plenty of wind. If the 5/8th line works, be happy you don't have to replace those Lewmar 46 ers.
