Interior Upholstery.....How much fabric?

If anyone knows the approximate yards of fabric necessary to recover a C34's interior cushions......Please post. Catalina won't return emails or calls. It seems I read somewhere herein around 34 yards??? No luck searching archives. Thanks

Did a search on "yards fabric" and found in another post that Catalina advises 32 yards.   I believe that number includes your backing fabric (mesh or vinyl).     Backing would be probably 10 to 12 yards.

I am in the process or redoing our boat. Purchased 30 yds of fabric, 56 inches wide.  This does not include the vinyl backing.  It takes 22 yds according to the upholstery shop.  Purchased some extra due to pattern and just in case of an accident.

Thx....I spent all morning calculating...and amazingly I got the same numbers as listed in replies. Hey paulus...sure would be interested in knowing what type fabric you're using. Sunbrella is good stuff but most looks so "canvassy" and rough, and there soft fabric is expensive. Trying to stay under $20 yard. Thinking of using cheap vinyl on backs to prevent wicking. Surprised some use mesh??? Doing this project myself....any advice appreciated
