We have noticed that after "flushing" our head, it will gurgle and bubble. Then we have to pump what just gurgled and bubbled back out. Is this normal? If not, what is the possible problem. Yep, it's a Jabsco too.

Joker valve, assuming your holding tank is not full and your tank vent is clear.  Or a clogged vented loop fitting (under the nav station high top).

Suggest you ask here:  http://forums.catalina.sailboatowners.com/forumdisplay.php?f=31

Thanks Stu. What is a Joker valve and where is it located?

Lance, time to read the directions (I know, hard for us guys!).  Go to the Jabsco website and print out the directions/manual for your head.  The joker valve is a duck-billed piece of rubber at the base of the hand pump that allows the "stuff" in the bowl to flow out but not back in.
