mooring fees

i've recently been looking at purchasing a boat in florida or the southeast-atlantic. can someone give me an idea on what mooring costs and slip fees usually run. tx joe

Hi Joe!Here in Key West the city has a mooring field,although its a bit of a slog in a norther,about a  half mile from the dinghy docks.The last  time I checked a mooring was about $300 a month and the city has a pumpout boat that visits for $10 a visit.Local marinas(sunset)run about 750 a month for a 34ft. liveaboard when available.Good Luck!David Quinn
