I went to the Strictly Sail Pacific show a couple of weeks ago.  My first Strictly Sail Show.  I was impressed.  Good variety of boats, great seminars, fewer vendors than I am use to seeing at the Annapolis show but a good variety of them.  I liked the smaller crowd and less formal party atmosphere!

On a side note, met the past Commodore Jon Arck and got a proper turnover and had a great afternoon with Stu.  We commandered the cockpit of the MKII on display.  Sales folks quickly dissappeared, guess they thought we were doing a good job of selling it.  Met some owners from the Dallas area (sorry too many new names to remember)  hope you got your floor issue resolved.

If you have never been to a boat show, you should try it!

New owner of an '87 here.

I took the Admiral to the Annapolis Show this year for one reason and one reason only.  Knowing that a family of five needed to trade up from a C 250, I took her there to get the ultimate in "sticker shock" so that when we started looking at brokerage boats, she would not balk at the prices.

Obviously it worked.
