Has anyone ever got there C34 surfing?  Is so how fast. Inquiring minds want to know...

Thanks.

Yes 9 plus knots down a wave in Lake Michigan. I'm quite certain that Stu and the SF Bay fellows have this beat.

I got 10kts (indicated) on Laker Michigan waves.  I suspect SF bay while often windier doesn't build up as big waves.

Highest we've hit is 9.9, my daughter was driving, but this was in the Bay on a broad reach.  The bigger and steeper the waves out in the ocean, the faster you can go.  Personally, I would avoid that condition.

How about on plane?  Does it ever happen?

Not to my knowledge, based on the shape of the hull.
