The two small rubber bumpers / stoppers which are suppose to keep the V-berth insert in place are not particularly effective. In deed, the design is somewhat dangerous - our insert has fallen out several times at night when someone has slide off the edge while getting up to use the head. Solution: Place "Velcro" sticky strips on the bottom of the V-berth insert and the support rails. Because of concerned that the glue on the strips would dry-out with time, we also stapled the strips to the insert and rails. (See Figures A, B & C)
