There is a plastic fuse holder in the electrical line between the start button and the starter. It is located in the tangle of wires on the port side of the engine behind the alternator. With time the plastic becomes brittle from age and heat and either breaks or the springs loose tension. End result is the engine will not start. Recommend mounting a permanent fuse holder to the bulkhead and rewiring. This will also make changing the fuse easier should it burn out.
