Light-duty Outboard Motor Mount (<40 lbs.)
By Bob Kuba, Quiet Island #1291 (1994 Mk 1.5)
This was a stock mount purchased from West Marine. In order to get it to fit properly on the rail, it required some internal trimming with a Dremel motor tool. It supports a 2.5 Hp Yamaha 4 cycle motor that weighs 35 pounds and can easily be lifted from the dinghy to the mount.
