PT11 / PT-11 / PT Eleven Nesting Dinghy
« on: July 27, 2018, 03:13:08 PM »

Anyone have any experience with this dinghy?  I'm liking the kit and all I've read and seen, but will it fit on our foredeck?  And has anyone actually rowed one?

Looks like a nice little kit, and seems to sail well as a little dinghy, if you have the time to do the building.
Otherwise, you might consider the Walker Bay. We love our 310, which we got with the sailing package. We also added the buoyancy tubes to increase the stability when we had several people, and for when the kids were younger and sailing the dinghy. They wouldn't need them these days.

Never heard of/saw it before but, I LOVE IT! However, Im feeling a bit too old for another project and too broke for a $5K dinghy... but Im very interested in tracking your experience if you go for it.

Not with that one.  A couple of years ago I built a CLC nesting Eastport Pram.  I enjoyed the build and am happy with the finished product.  Rowing and sailing are a ball.  But, I use my Zodiac for a tender, just better for me.
