I am atempting to remove the 6 Lemar opening ports in our 1988 to rebed them and i am having trouble removing the botom 4 screws on all the ports.  I suspect that they are corroded in place.  I have been soaking then with PB Blaster but no joy.  Next step it to try a 18v impack driver.  After that heat. Has anyone else had this trouble and what did work for you?

A couple of mine were stuck, but luckily broke free without special tools. I rebed the ports with butyl tape and put Lanacote on each screw thread when I reinstalled them.

Pal : Sears has a set of new impact screw drivers (blade & phillips).  They have a spring inside on the shaft. So when you hit the handle with a hammer the spring unscrews.  I bought a set, but have not used them yet.
