Our anchor light has burnt out.  Does anyone have the specs on the light bulb.  We would prefer to make the repair with only one vertical trip.

Thanks!

I believe mine is a Hella 10W bulb (#78206), but I wouldn't bet that Catalina hasn't changed anchor lights in the years between out boats.

I have the light shown as Item 232010 in the BoatUS catalog.  (Page 486 of 2002 catalog)  This indicates the bulb as Item 236010 at BoatUS which is an Ancor Model 520090, 7.5W.  Don't know if my installation is original, but it certainly had been there a darned long time.  When I went up the first time on taking ownership last year, I found the lens crazed (it fell apart in my hand), the seal shrivelled, and dried green algae everywhere inside.  I replaced the lens, seal, and bulb, and all was well.  Good Luck!  If you do it in one trip, I envy you!
