Wanted to buy: '90 or newer Catalina 34
« on: July 30, 2017, 09:43:06 AM »

I'm in the process of selling my condominium (Mississippi Coast, if you're interested) so I can purchase a liveaboard sailboat.

My son (18) and I keep going back to the Catalina's for the wide beam and popularity, among other things.  We don't plan on crossing the Atlantic any time soon.

We're looking for a 34 with an open transom and working air conditioner, among other features. Our budget is around $50,000. As stated above, we're in Mississippi, so regional availability is important as well.

We've found a few without AC, so if any of you have an idea of AC installation costs we would appreciate the information.

Thanks!

Nick:  I have a 1993 c34 with air (new this year) and works perfect!  The boat is in very good condition.  Are you still looking?  Mike

Yes, but haven't sold the condominium. Where are you located?
