Notice on the Catalina 36 International Association web site.  Procedure to check gear shift travel and engagement of the Universal Model 35 diesel. Catalina Yachts Engineering Bulletin 57.  This includes the 34 MKII, 36 MKII and the 350.

Jim,

How can I read a copy of this Bulletin?  It doesn't seem to be on this website.

Jim and Hal,

There seems to be NO SEARCH CAPABILITY that I could find on their 'site.  Is there one?  Did I miss something so obvious.  I sure hope I'm wrong. Please advise.

So, Jim, how do we find your suggestion, and/or, how did you stumble upon it?

I did finallly arrive at their message board, like ours, and tried that find feature, but go no hits on the issue: + gear + shift + travel

Unless, of course, it's so apparent, that like The Admiral says, "Duh, it's just in front of
you, honey."

Please help or just post the URL: directly on your messages.  Thanks -   :D

Hal and Stu,
Go to the Catalina 36 International Association web site.  Look under "Articles by 36 Owners" scroll down the list until you see "Hurt Transmission Glitch Sees Prompt Response from The Top".  Specific comments from Gerry Douglas along with drawings of transmission and adjustments.
I stumbled accross this while at work, I'm at home now and found this again on this site.  I think I was on Planet Catalina and had a direct link the first time.
Good information.  First good weekend without rain here in the Northeast.  I'm packed and going to Oasis.

I posted the link to this article a couple of days ago under "Transmission Cable Length" and "New Pedestal Guard", but here it is again.
