Anyone know how to get the fabric button covers back on the cushion buttons?  A couple have fallen off.  Tried pushing them on but can get about 3/4 on then can't get the rest to snap over the button.

I glued a couple this year with silicone adhesive. Holding up ok so far.

I have not found any glue that works to reattach the button heads.

Each winter I bring 1-2 cushions to a local canvas shop and they replace the buttons whose heads have fallen off. I have a stock of the matching cushion material because I replaced our v berth cushions with a mattress.  They use the material to make some new buttons.   They don't charge much to do this.

Mine seem to be able to snap over the fabric I just can't seem to get them all the way on.   May be able to go with the new button route.  Planning on getting a V-berth mattress from that place in Fall River you recommended.
