Guys : If you are in a cold climate the time to replace life lines is in the fall and let the rigging company work on them during their slack time - till spring.  A nice price reduction!!

I was going to do-it-myself until I had one of the threaded pieces into a turnbuckle fail.  Decided that the term LIFE LINE meant it was time and safety wise to have all the swedges done by a professional!!
Do not settle for a crimp, go for a swedge!!   

I changed to the stainless and not the vinyl covered - which worked out just fine.
