Fun with sewing
« on: November 18, 2015, 06:43:18 AM »

Just thought I would share my off season activity this year.  One of our dockmates with a C34 had an old sail and gave it to me to experiment with some sewing projects.  I though you all would like to see what can become of those old blown out sails.

I also made a large duffle bag with the sail numbers on the sides and a large toiletry bag (my experimental piece).  I still have a lot of sail material left.  When you start to cut these sails apart you realize how large they really are.

This took me about 6 hours to put together so NO I am not offering to make them for anyone with an old sail.
