Do you remove the stern perch seats in the winter or just leave them in place.

I leave the "Princess Seats" in place during the winter.  So far, they've gone through 20 Canadian winters with no ill effects.  Cushions (if any) of course come off.

I have the Zarcor stern perch seats.  They have the thin cushion integrated into the seat.  I usually leave mine off expecially if I'm not going to be at the boat for awhile and not have an opportunity to sail.  They're easy enough to remove or install so I try to only bring them out when I know they will be used .  Leaving them in place all of the time can make the area behind the helm a bit crowded and it's just more stainless to polish.   :abd:
The sail, the play of its pulse so like our own lives: so thin and yet so full of life, so noiseless when it labors hardest, so noisy and impatient when least effective.
