Has anyone purchased a side mounted ladder for  their C34.  I always carry my SOT kayak on a overnite trips. B/w my Bimini,  solar collector and going over the stern bar it's a pain entering the kayak or dinghy. I find the side entry a lot easier, I usually pull myself up or jump down to the kayak.

Ron, that's a great idea.  Because when we cruise out we usually raft up, it never really was something I chose to invest in.  Had I done so, however, what I'd do is first find a long engough ladder (they come with varying #s of steps) and then choose one that had rungs that curled up over the gunwale, and were firmly attached with clips.  I'd also get clips for both sides of the boat, since you never know which side you'd want to use.  There are a dizzying array of ladder choices out there, from reasonable to obscenely expensive.  Good luck.
