Ok, pulled the mast for the first time. Great help from y'all - went unbelievably smooth. Thanks
My question is this. When I pulled the mast, I discovered that my mast was equipped with Spartite. I suspected as much as I found the decal in a compartment. However, I expected to find partners - none were found. Is that correct?

Yes, the Spartite is in place of the partners.  It is meant to fill the void between the mast and the opening.

Clay's right.

It is a very good thing to have.  Avoids drips into the cabin through the partners.  What you're "missing" (thank goodness) is the need for those wooden wedges.
