What should you do if you have transmitted a distress call on Channel 16 a number of times and received no reply?

Repeat the message on any channel you might be heard on is correct.

I still like the third answer too.  More than once (on the water and in the air) I've discovered the reason I couldn't hear any replies to my transmissions was because the volume was turned down...
